He is a gentle character, he uses his strength and past experience to allow him to anticipate his enemies and beat them, although not much of an aggresive type character he will stop at nothing to protect what is dearest to him and that's what gives him strength.

Story:
Sora has always been a gentle person it's his nature, he was born with two best friends Riku and Kairi those two friends is what makes Sora strive forward to become stronger to protect them. With his gentle nature he is able to make friends with everyone he meets. Sora uses the Keyblade, a keyblade that is used to release the hearts within a heartless, a creature which it's heart has been stolen. He's been travelling across worlds defeating heartless' and so he has formed friendships but also lots of fighting experiences which make him unpredictable and experienced.

How he joined the game:
As usual Sora was travelling across the worlds looking for locked worlds, he stumbled across a very unusual world. Not knowing what awaited him he eagerly warped into it, after entering the unusual world he found himself surrounded by countless heartless'. Even though he was outnumbered he didn't care he defeated every single one of them that's when the Angel of Light appeared upon Sora and asked if he would join the Light side, explaining that a game was about to be held.
